Week 9: 15-19 August 2016

Our second lock-up week!

Our second week of lock-up started out a little disappointingly with the news that our kitchen, which was meant to be installed and delivered this week, would not be ready for delivery for another week or so!

Nevertheless, the fine weather this week allowed for some progress on the externals, with rendering completed and I think the brickwork has been cleaned, while work inside also continued with the skirting boards, architraves and doors all installed, along with our easy daddo paneling.

Our proper external doors and locks were also installed, meaning we now can’t get into our house (which in the current environment of home invasions and rampant theft from building sites is actually a very good thing!!).
